  4.                              Features Listing

  6.      Painless Accounting for Windows is a fully integrated accounting
  7.      (shareware) package. The modules included consist of: Files,
  8.      Ledger, Billing, Checks, Reports, Closing, Budget, and Utilities.
  9.  
  10.      File:
  11.        This module allows you to enter/edit all of your file
  12.        information. Through this option you can enter/edit the
  13.        following: Chart of Accounts, Clients, Vendors, Products,
  14.        Services, Messages, and your company information.
  15.  
  16.      Ledger:
  17.        All modules post to the Ledger. The Ledger consists of
  18.        Enter/Edit Transactions, Activity Report, Journal Report, and
  19.        Posting Process.

  21.      Billing:
  22.        The Billing Module allows you to enter and print invoices to
  23.        your Clients. You may enter, Products, Service, or Message on
  24.        an invoice. Sales Tax is automatically calculated based on
  25.        whether the Product/Service is taxable and the rate in the
  26.        sales tax file. This module also give you the ability to enter
  27.        Cash Receipts from your clients. Through this module you may
  28.        also print a Revenue Journal, Cash Receipts Journal, and Post
  29.        the information to the Ledger.

  31.      Checks:
  32.        The Checks Module give you the ability to enter and print
  33.        checks. You can also do a check reconciliation of all checks
  34.        entered through this module. You can also post all the
  35.        information to the Ledger.

  37.      Reports:
  38.        This module allows you to print the following reports:
  39.           A) Trial Balance
  40.           B) Balance Sheet
  41.           C) Income Statement
  42.           D) Client Aging
  43.           E) Client Statements
  44.           F) Client Labels
  45.           G) Client Directory
  46.           H) Historic Invoice
  47.           I) Product Listing
  48.           J) Service Listing
  49.           K) Message Listing
  50.           L) Chart of Account Listing
  51.           M) Vendor Listing

  53.        All reports and journal may be printed to your printer or
  54.        displayed to the screen.

  57.      Budget:
  58.        This module allows you to enter and edit your budget figures.
  59.        You can also print your budgeted figures, actual figures, and
  60.        a variance report comparing these figure.

  62.      Utilities:
  63.        This module contains all the miscellaneous options for
  64.        Painless Accounting for Windows. This option allows your to
  65.        display your file sizes, reindex your files, backup and restore
  66.        your data files, setup your print, and enter text that will be
  67.        printed at the bottom of your clients statements.

  69.      Closing:
  70.        This module is mainly used at the end of the month. This option
  71.        allows you to run End of Month for: Ledger, and Billing You can
  72.        also run End of Year for the General Ledger, and Purge the
  73.        Client Historical File, and Historical Check File.
